First of all, thanks for stopping by! My name is Gordy, and I make towing videos for YouTube.  Most of the towing videos I make are instructional, but we also have a little fun over there too! 

A little about my background: my father had a towing company back when I was just 15 years old, and that's where I started to learn about the towing business. I didn't have my drivers license of course so what I would do is get in my dad's wrecker and move cars around the lot. This is also how I learned to drive. After graduating high school I went into the United States Marine Corps for two years. When I came home I immediately landed my first towing job driving a wrecker in Fort Worth Texas. Back in the 70s and 80s all that were used were pretty much wrecker's. At that time flatbeds weren't really needed, because most cars had solid bumpers on them. Through the years as more and more cars became plastic, there became a need for more and more flatbeds. Today flatbeds are my truck of choice, and I believe they are the moneymakers.

It's a little hard for me to believe that I've been driving a tow truck for 29 years now, but I wouldn't change it for anything. Through my towing career I have gained a lot of knowledge and tricks. That is the reason I started the YouTube channel to give back some of my knowledge.
